NUEVA YORK (AP) — Michael Porter Jr. scored 35 points, Noah Clowney had 18 and the Brooklyn Nets won on moon night 116-103 over the Charlotte Hornets.

Nic Claxton added 13 points, 11 rebounds and assists for Brooklyn, which had lost four games. Alternates Danny Wolf and Drake Powell annotate each of their points.

Porter went 11 from the three-point line. The Nets shot 17 of 43 from beyond the arc, compared to 12 of 32 for the Hornets.

Kon Knueppel scored 18 points for Charlotte, who managed to keep up with them. LaMelo Ball had 12 points and 14 assists, and Collin Sexton finished with 15 points.

The Hornets pulled within 96-93 with two free throws from Liam McNeeley at 7:06 per game. Pero Wolf converted a blindfold and Porter made a jump shot to increase the Nets’ victory to 100-93 with 6:16 remaining.

Wolf and Clowney connect from a long distance to make it 112-98 with 2:36 per play.

The game is at 59 at mid-time. Porter scored 17 points in the first minute, and Knueppel had 12 in the decline.
