The Jackpot Powerball will reach $ 1.1 billion for the drawing on Monday after no one won the Grand Prix on Saturday evening.

The Labor Day Jackpot will be the fifth biggest in the history of Powerball and the biggest since April 2024.

“America has waited until the year the chance to play for a billion dollars jackpot, and what a better time than the labor festival for a PowerBall drawing of $ 1.1 billion!” Powerball director Matt Strawn said.

The jackpot on Saturday evening was estimated at $ 1.03 billion. The winning figures were 3, 18, 22, 27 and 33, and the Powerball number was 17.

Nine people equaled the five white balls to earn $ 1 million, and three of these nine people won $ 2 million because they paid an additional “PowerPlay” promotion. Four of the $ 1 million tickets were sold in California, while the others were bought in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Florida and Illinois.

No one has won the Powerball Grand Prix since May 31, when a California resident claimed the winning ticket. There are now 40 consecutive drawings without winner. The cash value of Saturday drawing is estimated at $ 498.4 million

The drawing on Saturday will be the largest since April 2024, when a $ 1.3 billion jackpot was won by an Oregon ticket buyer. The biggest history jackpot in history was $ 2.04 billion in November 2022. It was won by Edwin Castro, a resident in southern California.
