Prep talk: Spring high school championship schedules set

The postseason has already begun, with the high school playoffs and spring championships taking up much of the month of May.
Baseball
The Southern Section Division 1 final will be held at Cal State Fullerton on Friday, May 29; others on May 30 at Epicenter Stadium in Rancho Cucamonga
The Urban Section Open Division and Division I finals will be held at Dodger Stadium on Saturday, May 23.
Softball
Southern Section finals May 28-30 at Barber Park in Irvine.
City section finals on May 29 and 30 at the site to be determined.
Athletics
The Southern Section finals will take place on Saturday, May 16 at Moorpark High, with the Masters Meet on May 23.
The City section finals will take place on Thursday May 21 in Birmingham.
Boys Volleyball
The Southern Section finals will be held May 14-16 at Cerritos College.
The City section finals will take place on Friday May 15 in Venice and Saturday May 16 in Birmingham.
Girls beach volleyball
The Southern Section finals will be held May 2 at Long Beach City College.
City Section Team Finals May 1 at Santa Monica Beach
Lacrosse
The South Section finals will take place May 15 and 16 at Fred Kelly Stadium in Orange.
The City Section finals will be held on Thursday, April 30 in Palisades.
Swimming
The Southern Section finals will be held May 5-9 at Mt. San Antonio College
The City Section finals will be held on Friday, May 8 at East LA College.
Golf for boys
The individual final of the Southern section will take place on Thursday, May 21; the team finals will take place on May 18 and 19.
The municipal section finals will take place on Wednesday, May 20 in Wilson/Harding.
Tennis for boys
The Southern Section finals will be held on Friday, May 15 at the Claremont Club at the University of Redlands.
The City Section finals will be held April 29 and May 6-7 at Balboa Park.
Waterfall Cheer
The Southern Section Finals will take place on Saturday May 2 in Brea Olinda.
The City section finals will take place on Friday May 1 in Venice
