President Trump Cracks Up College Baseball Champions at White House With Incredible Plan – RedState

President Donald Trump made a few college baseball teams laugh at the White House on Monday when he said he would pay to see the 2025 NCAA champion LSU Tigers and the NAIA champion LSU-Shreveport (LSUS) Pilots face off.

Trump welcomed both teams, congratulating them both on their incredible runs, noting that the (LSUS) Pilots baseball team went undefeated, winning all 59 games and the national championship.

“This year, the Pilots became the first and only college baseball team in history to go completely undefeated for a full season. I want both of those teams to play,” Trump said, drawing laughter from those in the room.

“Come on… Do you want to do it? We’ll get the stadium, I’ll pay for it, what the hell!” he added. “But you had a mind-blowing record of 59 wins and no losses. What’s that? That’s pretty good.”

Trump also took the time to recognize the incredible work of LSU Tigers pitcher Kade Anderson, with 180 strikeouts.

“I would like to represent him. I’m leaving the White House immediately,” Trump said, joking and making people laugh. “Oh, money. Someone’s going to make some. Where’s Kade?”

Trump then walked over and shook the young man’s hand.

“It’s great to have you in the White House,” the president said. “We like winners in the White House, Kade.”

At one point, LSU baseball coach Jay Johnson praised President Trump.

“Mr. President, thank you for welcoming us into your home. The main thing I remember from you is the work ethic, something we preach,” the coach said. “No one works harder for America than you, so thank you for setting a good example.”

This comment sparked applause from the room.

As we reported, it was truly a banner day at the White House. Earlier today, President Trump invited Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to sign a deal on rare earth minerals.

During their time together, Trump answered questions from reporters on topics ranging from the recent Middle East peace deal to the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.

It was during this press conference that a reporter ended up making a major misstep when he came across a 400-year-old mirror that Trump had just taken out of storage. His reaction when he hears noise is priceless.

Watch:

“And ohhh, you gotta watch this,” Trump said. “You have no right to break this. This mirror is 400 years old…”

“A camera just hit the mirror,” he added. “Yes, yes, yes. I just moved it here, especially from the vaults, and the first thing that happens is a camera hits it. Hard to believe, isn’t it?… But those are the problems of life.”

Just another day at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue with Trump trying to right this ship that veered so far off course during the tenure of former President Joe Biden.
