Again? Illegal Alien Allegedly Stabs Rider in Attack on Charlotte, NC Light Rail Train – RedState
There has been another unprovoked stabbing attack on the Charlotte, North Carolina light rail system. We witnessed the tragic death of Iryna Zarutska last August in such an event, but this latest incident is different in two ways: the victim is still alive, although in critical but stable condition, at least as of this writing, and the alleged attacker is an illegal alien, who has been deported at least once and has re-entered the United States illegally.
When will we have enough? Transport Secretary Sean Duffy gave his opinion on his official X account:

And on Saturday, it was learned that the accused attacker, Oscar Solarzano, 33, is in the United States illegally. He is currently being held without bail.
According to court documents, Solarzano allegedly forced his way onto the streetcar while intoxicated, where he then stabbed a man with a “large fixed-blade knife.”
Solarzano is also accused of yelling at bus passengers, swearing at the victim and challenging him to a fight before being stabbed.
CMPD said Solarzano is charged with attempted first-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon with serious injury, breaking and entering of a motor vehicle, carrying a concealed weapon and drunkenness/disorder.
Court records show he is being held without bail because he “is illegal and has already been deported.”
It should be noted that entering the country illegally after being deported once is a crime, but Solarzano faces much harsher charges than that; if convicted, he would have to live out the remainder of his natural life in a U.S. prison, although that remains to be determined by the courts.
This whole incident reads like a Trump administration talking point: an illegal alien, who has already been deported once and re-entered illegally, attacks an innocent American in a seemingly drunken rage. A quick search doesn’t reveal precisely how or when Solarzano entered the United States, but it’s a safe bet that it was during the Biden administration’s non-enforcement of state borders and immigration laws.
Charlotte, North Carolina, was recently the target of an Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) operation called “Charlotte’s Web.” The left will no doubt cite this as motivation for this latest attack, but that’s a canard. Enforcement of our nation’s immigration laws in no way justifies or diminishes the brutality of the attack, nor the fact that it was unprovoked, carried out by a goblin filled with inexplicable rage.

Oscar Solarzano is no longer a problem for ICE, unless (assuming he is convicted and sentenced) he one day gets out of a US prison, hopefully as a much older man. At that time, he should be caught and repatriated, even though he is 90 years old. But that doesn’t change the fact that he should never have been in the United States in the first place, and once again we have an American fighting for his life in a hospital because of an unprovoked attack by an illegal alien.
