Trump Admin Immediately Politicizes Killing of Immigrant Detainees in Texas

As we saw immediately after the assassination of Charlie Kirk at the beginning of the month, the Trump administration seeks to mark bullets and grasp any other early information that they can grasp to blame certain amorphous, left and anti-top entities for another act of violence.
At least one immigrant detainee was killed and two others are hospitalized and in critical condition after a shooter opened fire on an ice installation in Dallas, Texas, Wednesday morning, according to a statement from the Ministry of Homeland Security. The alleged shooter, identified as Joshua Jahn, 29, was also found dead with what the authorities described to NBC News as an injury by a self-inflicted firearm. The identities of the victims have not yet been released, but they were all prisoners of immigrants. No ice officer was injured during the shooting, a press conference announced on Wednesday.
It seems that the alleged shooter has drawn several cycles from a weapon from a raised position in the port of Sally from the installation of ice. The special agent in charge of Dallas FBI, Joe Rothrock, announced on Wednesday at the press conference that there were bullets found near the shooter who had a kind of “anti-ice” messages on them.
Although the initial reports of several media have found that the alleged shooter, Jahn, was registered as an independent elector, which was accused in 2016 accusations linked to the delivery of marijuana, President Trump and his allies jump immediately to pin the violent attack on immigrants in an ice installation as an installment politically motivated by the political left.
The police have not yet identified a reason and have barely started investigating the shooting.
But in her declaration on the attack, DHS published an image of a ball case which, according to her, was left on the scene, saying: “The shell envelopes were found with anti-ice messages on them. It was an attack on ice forces. ”” This message was followed by a declaration from the Secretary of the DHS, Krisi Noem, who characterized the shooting as a “attack attack” “motivated by hatred for ice” before blaming the “politicians” and the “media” for the incident.
“Our prayers are with the families of people killed and our ice forces. This attack was motivated by hatred for ice,” she said. “For months, we have warned politicians and the media to alleviate their rhetoric on the police forces before someone was killed. This shooting must serve as awakening to the far left that their rhetoric on the ice has consequences. The comparison of the ice and the day at the Nazi Gestapo, the secret police, and the Slavic patrols have consequences. ”
The director of the FBI, Kash Patel, also published the same photos of the shell envelopes – which seem to have the term “anti -ice” written on one of them – on Twitter, as well as a message declaring that the engravings clearly indicate “an ideal motif behind this attack”.
Vice-president JD Vance published on Twitter, characterizing the shooting as an “obsessive attack on the police, in particular the ice” which must “stop”.
An official Twitter account of the White House went so far as to point the finger of the representative Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) for his recent remarks comparing the ice with “slave patrols”.
Trump himself weighed.
“We have already declared an antifa a terrorist organization, and I will sign a decree this week to dismantle these networks of domestic terrorism,” he wrote on Truth Social. “I call all the Democrats to stop this rhetoric against the ice and the American police, at the moment!”
Similar conclusions have been jumped by officials of the Trump administration in the aftermath of the Kirk Killing, when the Wall Street Journal published reports on engravings on balls which it described as marrying “the ideology” transgender. In fact, most of the marks on the balls in Kirk shooting themselves have been references to deep internet memes. Patel also drew attention and a certain derision – even from the right – for the search for Kirk shooter hunting, including the interrogation and the release of two individuals.
As my colleague Josh Kovensky reported it earlier this week, experts who have spent their careers studying violent extremism are alarmed by the continuous effort of the Trump administration to hide the right -wing violence record that has swollen in recent years. Just after Kirk was assassinated earlier this month, the Trump administration eliminated a study previously published by the Ministry of Justice, which revealed that extremely right extremists commit more violence than those on the far left.
While Trump administration officials jump and raise the story that Dallas attack was motivated by the criticism of implacable and inhuman ice operations carried out across the country, local officials ask people to take a break.
“There are still a lot of unanswered questions, and I want to encourage you all to do a little restraint and allow them to do their job to ensure that this continues to be a safe city,” Dallas mayor Eric Johnson said on Wednesday.
Texas Dem calls the politicized FBI
Following the attack on Wednesday, a democratic legislator of the Dallas region called the FBI to run with a political story before a survey was properly carried out.
“I do not trust what is happening with this agency,” said representative Marc Veasey (D-TX) in Notus after today’s press conference with local authorities. “I don’t trust them at all. They are too political. “
GOP leadership threatened Massie and others on Epstein Push
Representative Thomas Massie (R-KY) told Semaor that the Directorate of the Republican Congress threatened him with other Republicans who signed a petition pushing for a vote on the release of the files of the Jeffrey Epstein case with political remuneration.
“They returned and tried to have our names from the petition withdrawn,” Massie told Semaor after an event in her northern Kentucky district. “They asked some of my colleagues who are co-signs. And they actually threatened them politically, not physically. ”
