Report: A higher-end AirPods Pro 3 is coming next year

Apple is expected to reveal on Tuesday the AirPods Pro 3 during its “Awe Droping” event. For months, we have heard rumors about its new characteristics, which include cardiac and temperature frequency sensors, as well as rumors of a future version with IR cameras that facilitate support for gestic controls. A recent report by a Chinese leak that goes through settsuna digital on Weibo indicates that Apple’s plans for AirPod Pro 3 actually include the two rumors.
The report indicates that there will be two versions of the AirPods Pro 3. The first will probably be announced during the Tuesday event, while the high -end version with IR cameras could make its way in the headphones next year. The Digital Setsuna report follows that made by Ming-Chi Kuo with similar information: Airpods Pro by IR cameras arrived in 2026 with gestic controls to replace tactile controls. However, Kuo’s report implied that it would be the functionality to be part of an AirPods 4 update.
However, Setsuna Digital claims that Apple will offer both models next year at different prices (more than 2,000 yuans probably means $ 299). Personally, I would prefer those equipped with the camera because I never understood touch controls. I never seem to touch the right place, or I end up hitting the earpiece out of words. If the camera and gestures work as well as they should, it would be a better option for me. In addition, I would be an unhappy client if I had bought AirPods Pro 3 next week, then people equipped by IR cameras were announced a few months later, so I am curious to see how Apple manages the two outings.
The AirPods Pro 3 should also include cardiac and temperature frequency sensors, better sound quality, better battery life and live translation.
