REPORT: FBI Raids Virginia Democrat’s Home, Office In Major Corruption Probe

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) raided the home of Virginia Democratic state Sen. L. Louise Lucas on Wednesday over suspected ties to a major corruption investigation.
FBI agents were reportedly seen raiding Lucas’ home in Portsmouth, Virginia, as part of an ongoing corruption investigation, as well as executing several search warrants at his office and a nearby cannabis dispensary, according to Fox News. Lucas, who serves as president pro tempore of the Virginia Senate, is the architect of Virginia Democrats’ recent efforts to change the state’s congressional map from a 6-5 Democratic advantage to a 10-1 advantage.
