Republicans Are Determined to ‘Break Laws’ to Hang on to Power
On Thursday on “All in” by MSNBC, Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) said that the Republicans were determined to “break the laws” to keep the majority in the House of Representatives.
Warren said, “I approve of what California has done. I have long supported the independent redistribution and that it should not be political, should not be Gerrymandered. But for the moment, given what Texas has done, I applaud the California standing and striking back. It is important that the inhabitants of California are heard. Look, let’s face it, Texas is afraid of its own voters. ”
She continued: “Texas is afraid that if they simply have ordinary districts that are made by the region, what will happen is that they will be much more democratic and that the Democrats will take control of the House of Representatives. And so they do everything they can to happen again to try to fake the 2026 elections. ”
Warren added: “We can no longer live in a world where we pretend that everyone plays by the same set of rules, when it is very clear that the Republicans, who are not supported by the majority of people in this country, that the Republicans are determined to rig all the rules they can to break the laws, to ignore the laws to be able to take power. TO DO.”
