Samsung’s ‘limited run’ Galaxy Z TriFold is all sold out

Interested in purchasing a Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold? You might be definitely unlucky.
As spotted by 9to5google, Samsung has updated the online listing for the very large foldable phone to indicate that the “limited edition” device is “now completely sold out.” Presumably, this means you simply won’t be able to get one in the near future, if ever. 9to5google pointed out that Samsung never referred to the TriFold as a “limited edition” device before this website update.
Now, the site recommends users to check out the Galaxy S26 Ultra or Galaxy Z Fold 7 instead.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 launch date leaks
“Keep visiting samsung.com to make sure you don’t miss out on upcoming unique innovations and shop Samsung Galaxy’s latest premium foldable and mobile devices now,” the site now reads.
If you follow the TriFold saga closely, this isn’t very surprising. The device, launched in Asia late last year, made its Western debut at CES in January, and we’d already heard it could have a limited release by March. Samsung did one final restock online and at a handful of Samsung retail stores in the United States in early April, and that was apparently the end of the line for the TriFold.
Maybe that was always the plan, or maybe Samsung quickly realized that there was no sustainable way to continue making a nearly $3,000 smartphone in the era of global memory shortages. Either way, it looks like anyone who wanted a TriFold either already has one or will never get one.
