Best prices today: Schlage arrives the intelligent impartial bolt lock
199 $
Schlage has made premium locks for over a century, and society has managed to go to the era of the smart house over ten years ago. The Deadbolt Smart Wi-Fi Deadbolt powder lock arrives Smart is an alternative at a lower cost with the company’s previous Wi-Fi, encoding and encoding plus, but the entry level level always arrives a premium price.
You will get an incredibly well-made unit for your money, one with physical buttons, a BMHH Triple-A stellar certification (as well as the Ansi de Grade 1 commercial certification), a direct connection to your Wi-Fi network (no hub or required bridge), and a satisfactory wink when the Dalan bolt engages.
If you are looking for an intelligent danger bolt that offers exceptional security but you do not need a lot of advanced features, the arrival of Schlage is an exceptional choice. This assumes that you buy a replacement lock in relation to a modernization model for an existing lock. Our renovation guide in relation to intelligent replacement locking will help you make this decision.
Material

You will not meet any surprises when you sting the locking of DEAGEUR WIFI SMART WIFI arrives (well, except to obtain a single key).
James Barber / Foundry
The arrival smart wi-fi Deadbolt lock is available in black nickel finishes or in matte satin, with a choice of three garnish designs: Century is a linear rectangle, Remese (examined here) has rounded corners, and Camelot is a more traditional design of the medallion type. Schlage uses raised, rubberized and backit buttons for the keyboard. Although I imagine that this material costs less than the glass capacitive touch screen that the company uses on its more expensive locks, I prefer the sensation. The lock also has a conventional key cylinder, but Schlage provides only one key.
The AAA BHMA certification means that after 15 separate standardized tests, he obtained a first year note in the three categories of the commercial group: security, sustainability and finish. Thus, it should withstand high residential use. Its Ansi Grade 1 certification, on the other hand, indicates that it is also certified for use in commercial buildings. For these tests, the lock must survive at least 250,000 open / closed cycles and 10 strokes with a hammer delivering 75 feet by force. Here is even more information on BHMA and ANSI certifications because they apply to the bolt more.
Facility
Since I replaced a previously installed sleeping bolt, I didn’t need to replace the striking plate on my door amount. This allowed a quick installation of 10 minutes requiring only a Phillips head screwdriver. I had a little problem. The interior of the door had been colored around a previous dormant bolt and the Remse was narrow enough for a tape of the unique door below to be visible. This is a problem caused by the installation of the original door, but it should be noted.
After installing the SCHLAGE application on my phone and inserted four AA batteries (included) in the interior badge, I was able to use the application to connect the lock to my Wi-Fi network at 2.4 GHz. There is no requirement for a bridge or an intelligent house center, so the process could not have been easier.
The Schlage application

The SCHLAGE APPROVAL APPLICATION supports all the features you expect and allows you to assign up to 200 user pins.
James Barber / Foundry
The Schlage Home application has been redesigned for 2025, and it seems cleaner and more unified than in the past years. The new view of the house displays all your Schlage locks at the same time, with quick buttons for locking and unlocking, as well as the history of the locks and the state of the battery. The application facilitates the creation and management of access codes, to follow use and to configure push notifications.
Here is where the arrival stands out from the Schlage range: it supports up to 250 access codes, compared to 100 on encoding and more encoding. It is exaggerated for most households, but it is a huge convenience if you manage short -term rentals (this is where this Ansi Grade 1 certification comes into play) or if you give regular access to service providers. The codes can be limited over time or revoked remotely, and notifications can be set to alert you only when certain codes are used.
Integration of intelligent house
One of the features that makes the arrival an intelligent entry -level danger bolt is its limited support for smart house ecosystems. The arrival works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Ring Alarm Systems via the integration of the cloud, but this is where the list ends. If you want Apple and NFC Tap-T-Uplock via an iPhone or Apple Watch, you will have to switch more Schlage to $ 329.
The next Sense Pro Schlage (available this fall, Price TBA) goes further with the free hand unlocking of the material and ultra-large. If you live in the Apple ecosystem, the arrival will not check all your boxes, but it is perfectly adequate for anyone who simply wants a reliable Wi-Fi control.

The arrival of Schlage is available in three versions (from L to R: Remsen, Camelot and Century) and two finishes (nickel in satin and matt black).

Daily use
The Deadbolt Smart Wi-Fi powder lock happens stimulating being a lock “Define and forget”. The unit works exactly as you hope after using the application to configure a security code to four or eight digits and define the duration of the waiting time before restarting. Unlocking is instantaneous when you hit the key and there is only a slight offset when using the application.
As with all Wi-Fi locks, you will be without remote access if your Wi-Fi network drops. The battery lock will always accept a punch code and there is this single key if your batteries die (you can have more in your local hardware store).
Where the arrival is integrated into the Schlage range

High -end locks tend to have touch screens, but I prefer tactile feedback that rubber buttons provide.
James Barber / Foundry
Schlage positions the arrival as its intelligent entry -level lock, but I prefer its physical buttons to the touch screen which is the main upgrade included in the coding of $ 225. The arrival also provides care for more than twice as many separate codes as encoding.
- Arrive: Pick button keyboard, Wi-Fi, 250 codes, Alexa / Google, no Homekit Apple, regardless of the support
- Encode: capacitive touch screen keyboard, Wi-Fi, 100 codes, Alexa / Google, regardless of the support
- Eacode plus: touch screen keyboard, Wi-Fi, 100 codes, Alexa / Google, Apple Home, NFC Tap-T-Uplock, regardless of the support
- Sense pro (coming later in 2025): a unlocking based on ultra-width and ultra-width, NFC, hands-free intention
Double arrivation on bases: code capacity, tactile user -friendliness and simplified configuration. It is the intelligent lock that you put on a garage door, a rental property or a side entrance; Any place where reliability is more important than the advanced ecosystem support.
Should you buy the Schlage Arrival Smart Wifi Dead Bolt Lock?
The schlage arrives the wi-fi Smart Wi-Bolt lock does not push the limits, and that’s exactly the point. It is still the most accessible smart lock in Schlage: easy to install, easy to use and robust enough to manage daily life without attracting attention to itself.
If you want a SCHLAGE lock that supports Apple Home, opt for the SCHLAGE ECODE PLUS. If you are looking for a hands -on entry, the Sense Pro could be worth waiting. But if whatever you want is a reliable and touching wi-fi smart lock that you can manage from your phone, Schlage’s arrival is an excellent choice.
