Anthropic’s Claude AI chatbot can now create and edit Office files

According to an ad article, Anthropic has launched a new feature in Claude which allows you to create and modify files directly in the AI ​​cat, including word documents, Excel calculation sheets, PowerPoint and PDF presentations. Previously, only basic file support has been offered.

Thanks to a private computer environment, Claude can now write code and run programs to generate files and analyzes. Anthropic describes it as the Ai chatbot becoming an active collaborator, taking care of the technical side while the user (you) provides context and strategy.

The file creation and publishing function is currently in preview and available for users with a maximum subscription, team or business. Pro users will have access in a few weeks while free users will have to wait longer.
