The 9-3 Chicago Bears were one of the biggest surprises of the 2025-26 NFL season, winning nine of their last 10 games after an 0-2 start to move atop the NFC North standings and into the conference’s No. 1 seed.

They’ve already exceeded Vegas bettors’ expectations this season, surpassing their preseason win total of 8.5 a few weeks ago. And after an impressive 24-15 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Black Friday, a bettor’s big bet on Da Bears seems even more prudent.

A BetMGM bettor bet $50,000 on the Bears at 66-1 odds earlier this season to win Super Bowl LX in Santa Clara next February. The bet would raise $3.3 million and is currently the largest Super Bowl futures bet in terms of total liability at any legal sports betting site in the United States.

However, bettors aren’t quite sold on the Bears’ prospects just yet.

The Bears currently have a 30-1 Super Bowl odds – the seventh-best Super Bowl odds among teams in their conference. And despite sitting in first place in the NFC North, the Green Bay Packers (8-3-1) are BetMGM’s -140 favorite to win the division. Caleb Williams (18th overall QBR) has played much better in his second season under new head coach Ben Johnson, but remains far from winning MVP at 60-1 odds.

The Los Angeles Rams (+450) are currently the Super Bowl favorites at BetMGM.

Chicago has the fifth-toughest remaining force on the schedule, so it will be interesting to see if the Bears can finish strong, win the division and host a playoff game. In their favor, the Packers have the second-toughest SOS in the NFL.

Chicago has been good to punters all season, going 8-4 ATS, which is tied for second behind the Seattle Seahawks at 9-3.

The Bears are currently at -325 odds to make the playoffs (76.5% implied probability), so that’s the first step for this bettor to cash in.

It’s a bet that we will follow closely throughout the season.
