Seth Meyers’ recap of the past 3 weeks is a wild, chaotic ride

Sometimes the news is so chaotic that we forget how many ridiculous things have happened in a relatively short period of time.
“This is usually the part of the show where we do our recurring segment ‘A Closer Look,’ about all the crazy things happening in the news, but we just got back from a three-week hiatus, and it turns out nothing happened. So instead, we debut our new segment, ‘Everything’s Great,'” Seth Meyers said in the Late at night clip above.
“It’s true, it’s been a quiet three weeks, and nothing really – what is this? Oh, Iran says the Strait of Hormuz is closed again? OK. Um, what, Iranian gunboats fired on an oil tanker? And, sorry, the US seized an Iranian cargo ship and Iran is promising to retaliate? Okay, but that’s just the Middle East – what? Trump fired Attorney General Pam Bondi? He posted a meme of himself as Jesus, but then said he thought it was a meme of himself as a doctor What?
The segment continues like this for a good two minutes.
