Coros, manufacturer of excellent racing watches that Rival Garmins in features and precisionannounced a set of updates This includes vocal alerts, training plans in the application and the possibility of (finally!) Modify the number of rehearsals in a strength training directly from your watch. Here are the strengths:
Libraries of training and training plans in the application
Coros offers predefined training plans for a variety of goals, such as running your first marathon or beat 25 minutes in a 5 km race. But until recently, you could not go through and select them in the application.
Now you can enter Profile on the coros application and select Training Plan Library Or Training library To see all your options. There are separate tabs for official offers from coros, and for “my training” to show those you have created or recorded for yourself.
Correct rehearsals directly from the watch
When you do a strength training session, a coros watch can try to count the representatives, but that does not always get things. With the new update, you can now change the number of representatives on your watch immediately after the whole.
The force training function also adds animations for each exercise, but I found that to allow this, I had to go to Profile Tab in the application and press “Download now” to get animation files on my device. The watch useful for me how to proceed, but it could not download the files during a training, so I had to end training, download the files and restart.
What do you think so far?
Vocal alerts while you run
Previously, a coros watch could beep to let you know when a turn arrived on a route that you follow, but unlike a garmin, it would not tell you to say “turn left”. Now, vocal alerts are available for the rate, distance and future turns, as well as nutritional alerts (reminding you of eating during a race), if you have activated them.
Voice alerts, such as exercise animations, also require a download of files. Go to Profileyour device, and File downloads To make sure they have been added before your race.
The update also adds more training modes, including yoga and pilates; A chatbot has for help; Alerts when you run a back itinerary (and the possibility of running it back); And more, including redesigned commands which are intended to be more suitable for touch screens on touch screen watches like the Pace Pro.
