Sir Jim Ratcliffe privately outlines new condition that would make him sack Ruben Amorim this season
Ruben Amorim will remain on the Manchester United saddle in the foreseeable future despite the supervision of the worst start to the club campaign in 33 years.
The Red Devils fell to a 3-0 defeat in the hands of the Rivaux of Manchester City during the shock of the Sunday derby at Etihad, leaving a 14th place in the Premier League table with a victory, a draw and two defeats in their name in the first four games.

In addition to their dull results, United scored only one goal of the game opened in six hours of League football. This occurs after the board of directors spent 193.8 million pounds sterling to grant Amorim a brand new front line, made up of Benjamin Sesko, Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha, although the latter was excluded from the Sunday competition by injury.
When the side endured such a catastrophic ending until 2024/2025 by finishing the 15th and losing the final of the Europa League, the majority of fans were eager to stick to Amorim due to the disorder he had taken at the relay of Erik Ten Hag last October.
In addition, he worked with a harvest of players whom he did not have his say, so the supporters wanted to see how he would have his reinforced options throughout his first summer window.
According to Ben Jacobs (via Givemesport), the co -owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe is of the belief that the current united team is able to qualify for the Champions League this season.
Amorim’s use safety will be “Be more seriously discussed” If it seems that the club is again below the UCL as the term progresses.
However, there has been no decision to start dimensing the replacements for a potential vacancy in the Pirogue of Old Trafford, and the former Lisbon sports boss retains the full support of Ineos – for the moment.
