Carton boats lovers descend to Salem Maritime National Historic Historic Park in Salem, Massachusetts for Great Salem Maritime Cardboard Boat Regatta. Held for the first time in 2023, the event tests engineering, ingenuity, determination and artistic talent of boats. The regatta is one of the many events organized during the Salem Maritime Annual Festival, celebrating the rich maritime history of the city.
