SUPER73 has spent the last decade transforming a scrappy idea of Orange County into a recognizable silhouette: sun-struck, moto-style, rowdy around the edges as it crisscrosses the coastline. The new A Series pushes this form of adventure bike into a wider avenue. These bikes still seem born for walks, alleyways, and backpacking trips down the LA River, but they’re also designed to slide more neatly into city life, with commuter-friendly utility and a wider range of adjustments, including sizes that give smaller riders a much better grip.

This change happens at the frame level, not just in a few accessories. SUPER73 built its name on bikes with a low, stubby stance that looked closer to a machine with swagger than a simple bike on steroids, and the A Series keeps that visual muscle intact. What changes is the ease. New platforms with seat heights of 27 inches (MZFT), 30 inches (M1D), and 33 inches (B1G) distribute the adjustment more intelligently, so more riders can swing a leg, put a foot at a light, and navigate stop-and-go traffic without that stretched, slightly awkward perch that some motorcycle-style e-bikes never really solve. Additional storage and modular secondary battery capacity bring the bikes closer to everyday utility, while Special Edition versions include larger batteries, adjustable front suspension and a new digital display. This is a recalibration whose benefits should be easy to feel: the same lowered gaze, less friction in the daily commute. And while there are Baja colors (white, red, orange) and black, there is also a purple, which is our catnip.
It’s also a smart expansion for a brand that has grown well beyond its initial viral wave. SUPER73 began in 2016 as a long-running Kickstarter dreamed up by friends looking for style, speed, and spirit in one package, then snowballed into a scene powered by creators, celebrities, athletes, and early devotees who turned weekly group outings into vibrant influencer folklore. Today, the range extends from the casual and accessible Z Series to the more urban S Series, through to the more capable and capable R Series models, and the compact MZFT.
