Suspect arrested after car crashes into post office and catches fire

San Jose, California – A suspect was arrested after a car collapsed in a post office in San Jose, California early on Sunday, causing flames, the authorities said. No injury has been reported.
The emergency teams responded around 3 am to the office located in a shopping center in the south of the city center, according to a joint police and fire services in San Jose.
“Upon their arrival, they discovered that a vehicle had been taken to the post office and caught fire, which caught fire the whole building,” the statement said.
About 50 firefighters took about an hour and a half to shoot down the flames. Photos published online by the fire service showed a charred vehicle inside the building of a strongly damaged floor.
No details on the suspect was immediately published, and officials said that the federal postal inspectors are investigating. An email was sent to the American postal inspection service looking for additional details.
Nearly 2 million people live in the metropolitan region of San Jose, around 50 miles (80 kilometers) south of downtown San Francisco.
