Suspect in custody after suspicious package found near White House

The American secret services confirmed Sunday evening that a person was in detention following reports that a suspect ensemble was found near the White House.

“Around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, 2025, division officers in uniform American secret services immediately apprehend [sic] An individual who has climbed a fence on the southeast side of the American treasury building, “the Federal Application Agency for the Act.

The suspect would have dropped a bag on the sidewalk adjacent to the building’s fence, located next to the White House.

This caused a response from the team to eliminate explosive ammunition from the Metropolitan Police Department (EOD), which released the article.

The suspect was transported to a local hospital for a medical assessment and faces charges for illegal entry, as well as the fugitive of justice from a mandate in a different jurisdiction.

Twice during his campaign in 2024 for the highest post in the country, President Donald Trump was the subject of assassination attempts.

On July 13, marked a year since a lonely shooter on a roof at Butler Farm Show Grounds in Pennsylvania pulled eight rounds to the president when he organized a campaign rally. The suspect of this alleged attempted Trump’s life, Ryan Routh, 59, fled when she was spotted, to be arrested shortly after. He was accused of having attacked a federal officer and multiple violations of firearms, as well as the assassination attempt.

He should stand out during his next trial.
