TCL manufactures good non -oletic televisions (probably among the best compared to the cost), as is the case with the QM7 of last year on which I got hold, which is still a good deal in 2025. There are a lot of differences between Qled and Oled, but unless you plan thousands of dollars, a Qled test is very good.
Consider the new QM6K QLED of TCL from $ 447.99 (Originally $ 698 at launch) for the 55 inch class. This is the lowest price that this television was, according to the price monitoring tools. I have had mine for a few months and I was surprised by its value for the price.

The QM range of TCL offers good value, whatever size you choose. The QM6K is much better than last year’s interpretation, now with local gradation areas (500 of them, according to the CNET review) and a LED mini-pastry, radically improving the contrast. Color accuracy is also surprisingly precise out of the box for HDR content, which is ideal for people who do not like to play with the settings.
With the QM6K, you get the native 144Hz refreshment rate, HDR formats like HDR Ultra with Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10 +, HDR10, & HLG, Dolby Atmos Audio, an anti-Glare screen, 4 HDMI inputs (including an EARC), and the Google TV TV (my favorite operating system) In, which means you can start your phone. You also get Apple Airplay 2 and Integrated Alexa, according to ZDNET review.
What do you think so far?
If you are a player, there is a lot to love in QM6K, according to IGN’s criticism. The game bar function allows you to adjust the parameters on the fly. There is also a VRR accelerator which doubles the refresh rate at a perceived 288 Hz. It also has AMD Freesync Premium Pro, so you can feel a gentle gameplay on a PC or a console. Really a lot to offer for a budget Qled TV.
