Tesla hits crowd outside Redlands bar, gunfire erupts injuring 4 people

Video captured the chaotic moment a car plowed into a crowd gathered outside a bar this weekend in San Bernardino County, California, unleashing a burst of gunfire and sending bystanders scrambling for safety.
The Redlands Police Department said Monday that four people were rushed to the hospital after the suspected vehicular homicide attempt occurred early Sunday morning.
The incident is believed to be due to an altercation that broke out between several people outside a popular restaurant and bar, The Underground, shortly before 1:30 a.m.
Authorities said one of the individuals involved got into a 2022 Tesla and drove off before returning a few minutes later, “hitting four people who were standing on the street in front of the bar.”

The driver then lost control of his vehicle and hit a curb. Despite the impact, the car sped away from the scene, apparently leaving behind a trail of escaping liquid.
After the first strike, an “unknown suspect” pulled out a gun and unleashed a burst of gunfire, police said, breaking the window of one business and damaging the door of another.

Police confirmed no one was hit by gunfire. However, four victims were seriously injured in the hit-and-run and were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
No arrests have been announced in connection with this attack.

Bruno, the owner of the business whose window was shattered by gunfire, told Fox 11 Los Angeles that a similar incident had previously taken place in the area.
The downtown Redlands neighborhood is known for frequent altercations and disturbances, with some describing it as “a place where people go after being kicked out of other bars,” the outlet reported.
