The S90F is the cheapest OLED TV in Samsung’s 2025 lineup, and a notch below the more premium S95F. For about half the price, the S90F drops some features that might not be essential to you anyway: it has lower brightness (although it’s still pretty good – see below), no anti-glare coating, and no connector box (i.e. an external I/O hub with HDMI, power, and USB to reduce cable clutter). If you don’t plan to place this TV in a well-lit space or watch most of your content in the evening and you don’t care about the connection box, this model offers incredible value for money. For $1,044.99, you’ll get an OLED with high-end specs at an economical price.
This TV is one of the best value OLEDs you can buy since its release in 2025. It offers a dynamic picture and excellent gaming brightness that you won’t find on other TVs at this price. According to CNET’s analysis, the the brightness in gaming mode is particularly excellent compared to its main competitor, the LG OLED C5, which currently costs $1,198.99.
