A surprisingly close The race for the United States House of Representatives this week in Tennessee is the latest illustration of Donald Trump’s attitude. increasingly unpopulareven in places where he was strong in 2024. Michigan is another place where support for the president is softening, says Mallory McMorrowone of the leading Democratic candidates in the U.S. Senate primaries. (One of his rivals, Abdul El-Sayed, also appeared on Right away recently.) McMorrow has argued that Trump’s unpopularity is linked to his policies, particularly rising health care prices because the administration refused to increase Obamacare subsidies. The 39-year-old, currently a state senator, called on the Democratic Party to welcome younger candidates. She also explained how her professional experience as an industrial designer sets her apart in a party dominated by lawyers.
