The second track of Gatwick is another example of the tragedy of the communes (Gatwick gave the green light for 2.2 billion pounds of the second plan, September 21). While all nations benefit from a healthy climate, everyone also benefits from actions that damage the climate. Only international cooperation – including a binding agreement to eliminate the production of fossil fuels – can prevent this tragedy.
