There was no shortage of exciting news to excite our press complex. Donald Trump received the prince of Saudi Arabia and then invited Zohran Mamdani to visit the Oval Office. There was a lot of melodrama surrounding a video made by a handful of Democrats encouraging members of the military to defy official orders that would be considered illegal. A few days later, none of them could establish what illegal activity had been ordered.

There were ICE raids in Charlotte that disturbed the press, and meanwhile, persistent news of the Epstein Files release created confusion. What the media had been clamoring for over the past year was about to happen, but there was little satisfaction with the development, mainly because Democrats became the ones paying for the exposure of their past ties to the pedophile. It’s time to put on the waders again and ride out this week’s media chaos.

COMPETITORS

ABC News -Mary Bruce caused a sensation and deserved praise journalists for his “courageous” questioning of President Trump. Of course, this brought attention to his less than courageous work during Biden’s term. In “This Week”, Susan Glasser guided a panel criticizing the meeting between Trump and Mamdani, because they were relaxed and pleasant towards each other. There was also an attempt to call on Elissa Slotkin to rehabilitate the hype of this video. David Muir was back condemn the construction of the White House ballroom. The news network has given parent company Disney another dose of PR as it helps rebuild Los Angeles’ standing after the fires.

The DoW completely disowned the report. On NBC Nightly News, they applauded a North Carolina church holding seminars to counter ICE detention efforts in the region. In another report, the granddaughter of author EB White said she would not approve of referring to immigration operations as “Charlotte’s Web”.

Policy – Dasha Burns tried to challenge Trump over voting to release Epstein files, even as she admitted in one sentence that there was no proof. When the White House announced that a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine was near, some speculated that it was done to distract from the Epstein files. In another report, they also had to admit that the likelihood of Trump being convicted of a crime in the records is “unlikely,” but they nonetheless saw the need to smear him: “But it is important to separate two very important concepts: criminal misconduct and highly embarrassing or malicious and morally offensive conduct.»

Public Service Broadcasting – In a segment the day after Dobbs decision, the network promoted clandestine networks supplying abortion pills. The Washington Week show aimed to criticize Trump for insulting journalists. Jeffrey Goldberg also moderated a panel denouncing Trump’s response to Democrats who released a video encouraging military resistance.

Hakeem Jeffries then came into play desperately spin the revelation that his fundraiser once tapped Jeffrey Epstein for donations and a private dinner.

Then Jasmine Crockett had to be recruited to find excuses for his speech in the Houseaccusing Republicans of taking Epstein’s money, even though she and her team didn’t know there were other people with that name — and didn’t realize some of the donations were made after Epstein’s death.
