This giant LG OLED gaming monitor is over 50% off

Since no one can upgrade their gaming PC right now, it’s a very popular time to upgrade your gaming monitor. And if you want to go big, Amazon has a fantastic deal today. This 39-inch ultra-wide LG OLED, and I mean ultra because it measures 39 inches, it only costs $768. That’s more than half the original retail price of $1,600.
This UltraGear monitor (model number 39GX90SA-W) comes with all mountings. You get 240Hz speed for smooth frame rates and utility for competitive online gaming. It is compatible with FreeSync and G-Sync when you want to amplify these effects. It also uses a semi-standard 3440 x 1440p resolution, but bumps the size up an extra five inches over what you usually get with that wide 1440p resolution.
On top of all that, it’s a central monitor, featuring USB-C video (although it’s only 65 watts, a gaming laptop may need more) and additional USB-A ports for more gadgets. It even has an Ethernet port. For what? Because it also uses WebOS, LG’s smart TV software, so it can offer videos and other content on its own. You can read PCWorld’s full review of the 39GX90SA-W here.
This is a pretty incredible deal, and one that probably won’t be matched until the next big holiday sale. I have a feeling Amazon might sell out, but if so you can order one directly from LG, Best Buy, or Newegg for the same price.
