Hailey Bieber Doubles Down on What’s Sure to be the Most Controversial Swimsuit Trend of 2026

Turns out 2026 could be the year of the monokini. Two of the three swimsuits in Bieber’s most recent post are technically one-piece, but feature elaborate strappy cutouts that make careful application of sunscreen vital beyond its obvious health benefits. She started tame with a ruffled black one-piece with a deep V-neckline and lace-up front. In the striking selfie, she opted for minimal makeup and a naturally tousled wavy bob, although she elevated the look with a pair of large diamond earrings.

Bieber’s second swimsuit was much bolder and more strappy. In the fifth slide, she revealed a leopard-print monokini that exposed much more of her torso and would pair beautifully with her latest pair of cheetah-print nails, even though she’s currently wearing a neutral, glassy manicure. She then shared a slightly sandier selfie in the animalistic one-piece on her Instagram Story, as if to prove that she actually wore the cutout swimsuit to the beach.
