“They have said that for years,” Romo said at the American championship of the century on Saturday. “They said that about (Tom) Brady and the Patriots and (Bill) Belichick. It’s the same thing. You have Andy Reid, you have Mahomes, you have (Travis) Kelce. You will be fine.”
The labels were strengthened after the defeat of February against the Eagles of Philadelphia. The Eagles bleached Mahomes and the Chiefs in the first half and was late by up to 34 points in the third quarterThe greatest deficit in the career of the former first -round choice.
Mahomes committed three reversals and underwent a career summit of six bags during a frustrating effort.
After having pumped the breaks on the idea that the Kansas City dynasty ends, Romo was invited to comment The recent opinion that an “first” Aaron Rodgers was better than Mahomes.
Again, the former Dallas Cowboys star refused to speak negatively about Mahomas.
“I don’t get started in hypotheses and things, but I think they are both incredible quarters, both with rare features,” said Romo.
Kansas City has re-signed offensive weapons Marquise Brown and Kareem hunt this offseason, as well as the second Nick Bolton, among others. Adding offensive line via the free agency and the NFL 2025 draft should also help.
