Trump at Mar-a-Lago wishes ‘Radical Left Scum’ a Merry Christmas

President Donald Trump is vacationing at Mar-a-Lago after a festive Christmas Eve with calls to children and the military and a Merry Christmas to all, including “radical left scum.”

A notice from the White House press office for Christmas Day said no public events were planned.

The president attended Christmas Eve dinner with first lady Melania Trump, according to a social media post. The setting was one of the Palm Beach estate’s lavish ballrooms. The table where the president and first lady sat seemed separated from the others by a red velvet rope.

Around the same time, the president published an article on Truth Social saying his political opponents were “failing badly” and then listed what he considered his administration’s successes. The post was pinned to the top of his account feed on Christmas morning.

Here is the message:

“Merry Christmas to everyone, including the radical left scum who are doing everything they can to destroy our country, but failing sorely. We no longer have open borders, men in women’s sports, transgender for all, and weak law enforcement. What we have is a record stock market and 401k, the lowest crime rate in decades, no inflation, and yesterday a GDP of 4.3, two points better than expected. The tariffs have given us billions of dollars in revenue, dollars for growth and prosperity, and the strongest national security we have ever had. We are respected again, perhaps like never before.
