Swan Hellenic Charts a Bold New Course in Asia

When Sh Minerva returns to the Hellenic Cygne fleet in November, it brings more than fresh paint and routine overhaul. The ship will launch the very first season of Swan Hellenic in Asia-Pacific in March 2026. In doing so, it includes the main mission of the brand: to take travelers to see what the others do not have.
Expansion in Asia-Pacific
When the Asia-Pacific season begins in March 2026, Minerva will call destinations such as Papua New Guinea, the Solomon, Raja Ampat, the Philippines and Japan. Customers can explore tribal art and rituals, coral reefs in the Corail triangle, the world’s heritage sites, the eco-system of the tropical forest and rich marine life. The new season of Swan Hellenic in Asia-Pacific does not deviate from tradition but from its realization. With ships built to operate in sensitive environments with advanced sanitation, emissions reduction engines, dynamic positioning without anchor and sustainable supply – the fleet supports truly aligned practices on environmental and cultural respect.
The SH Minerva will sail with 5 different routes, notably Japan, Korea, Raja Ampat and Papau New Guinea. This season takes the ethics of Swan Hellenic beyond polar borders and in equatorial waters, while preserving the rigorous standards that define the cruise on cultural expedition.

A ship with a goal
Built in 2021, Sh Minerva is a ice class shipping ship designed by the installation. The ship carries less than 200 people in refined comfort adapted to exploration. Extended deck areas, dedicated observation posts, panoramic interiors are all designed to ensure significant immersion in remote places.
Daily life on board
There is no typical day aboard a Hellenic swan trip. Customers can wake up with panoramic views in their cabin and have breakfast before going to Basecamp, a full service cloakroom managed by a concierge where you are for your shipments and you are informed. From there, the small groups leave with expert guides for apnea diving, kayak, fauna observation or interior hikes. On board, guests can join citizen scientific projects such as NASA cloud observations, the surveillance of phytoplankton and Seabird birds. Conferences follow, exploring each layer of history, culture and ecology aboard a ship built for connection, not distraction
The afternoons can offer photography workshops, philosophy discussions or free time on deck or in the sauna. The evenings include an informal dining room, piano performance, stars and time to exchange stories before bed. It should be noted that Swan Hellenic has several cabins reserved for solo travelers for an additional cost.
