CDC director Susan Monarez was dismissed after having resisted changes in the vaccine policy that was advanced by the Secretary of Health, Robert F Kennedy Jr, and she believed to be a contradiction of scientific evidence, according to a former interim director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Richard Besser said that Monarez told her that there were “two things that she would never do in work. One was all that was deemed illegal, and the second was all she felt against science – and she said that she had been asked to make them both. ”
The other CDC employees applauded the three outgoing officials who resigned after the dismissal of Monarez while they left the Atlanta campus on Thursday, in a demonstration of contempt towards Kennedy and his non -scientific assertions concerning vaccines.

The president is seriously serious about the candidacy for a third term in violation of the American Constitution, said Californian governor Gavin Newsom on Wednesday, warning the Americans to “wake up” to what he described as the flagrant contempt of Trump for democratic standards.
