Hakeem Jeffries, the head of the House minority and a member of the New York Democrat Congress, said Donald Trump had “made a crisis” to justify the sending of federal National Guard troops to Chicago then at the head of local leaders.
Jeffries, appearing on the state of the CNN Union on Sunday, accused the American president of “playing games with the life of the Americans” with his unprecedented domestic deployment of the army, which increased to include the armaments of the troops which currently patrol Washington DC – after having sent troops to Los Angeles in June.

Planning is underway to send national guard troops to Chicago, a Pentagon official confirmed on Sunday in ABC News, while the minority chief of Hakeem Jeffries accused Donald Trump of “playing games with the life of the Americans”.
“We will not speculate on new operations. The ministry is a planning organization and is constantly working with other agency partners on the plans aimed at protecting assets and federal staff,” said an official of the Ministry of Defense, according to ABC.
