Trump says he will hike tariffs on EU cars to 25%

The deal was finally approved by the European Parliament in March, but only after adding a clause allowing its suspension if the Trump administration was deemed to have “undermined the goals of the deal, discriminated against EU economic operators, threatened the territorial integrity of member states, their foreign and defense policies, or engaged in economic coercion.”
