Trump Says War With Iran Is Totally Still on the Table

Trump ordered a strike against Iran’s nuclear sites on June 22 without express approval from Congress. The attack damaged facilities in Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan, although an autopsy battle damage assessment Pentagon intelligence determined that the missile barrage only set back Iran’s nuclear program by months, instead of the “years” Trump claimed.

“Razin Caine is a great fighter and represents the most powerful military in the world,” Trump said. “He hasn’t talked about not doing Iran, or even the limited fake strikes I’ve heard about, he only knows one thing, how to WIN and, if he is told to do it, he will be at the head of the pack.”

“Everything that has been written about a potential war with Iran has been written incorrectly, and on purpose,” he wrote. “I’m the one who makes the decision, I would rather have a deal than not, but if we don’t make a deal it will be a very bad day for this country and, very unfortunately, for its people, because they are great and wonderful, and something like this should never have happened to them.”
