Trump’s Agents Arrested Don Lemon. Then the Story Got Even Darker.
But now the story gets even darker. The Justice Department has gone to a grand jury to obtain an indictment, according to a source familiar with the matter. Lemon’s arrest was carried out after 11 p.m. Thursday night at his Los Angeles hotel, where he was covering the Grammys, the source continued, adding, “It appears to be maximum humiliation.”
Additionally, Bondi herself just tweeted that this arrest was made “under my instructions,” without explaining the charges. This, coupled with the strange and sudden circumstances of the arrest, strongly suggests that this is a show arrest – the equivalent of a show trial – to excite and titillate Trump and MAGA.
Remember, shortly after the church protest, Trump called Lemon a “loser and a lightweight” and absurdly claimed that heroic ICE agents were being “mistreated by people like Don Lemon,” who criticizes ICE. This disgusting outburst from Trump has of course greatly excited the MAGA media. Bondi appears to arrest a reporter with the express purpose of riling them up more.
