PBS and NPR face cuts as Trump’s CBS settlement highlights media bias

CBS, paramount to pay $ 16 million in Trump
The co-host of “ Fox & Friends ”, Charlie Hurt, weighs after CBS News and Paramount agreed with a regulation on the modification of the 60-minute interview with Kamala Harris that the Trump Concreme team influenced the 2024 elections.

For the first time, after decades of testing, the Republicans appear about to finance the PBS and the NPR on the wild bias of the left of their reports, and remarkably, rather than promising changes, the progressive elites in charge are coupled with Trump.
Everything happens even though the congress considers a draft cancellation law of President Donald Trump to reduce their founding snow fund.
The White House urges Congress to reduce federal funding for NPR, PBS
On Wednesday, PBS Newshour broadcast a segment of Trump’s victory in a trial against CBS News, which was satisfied with $ 16 million on the deceptive edition by “60 minutes” of an interview with Kamala Harris during the 2024 campaign.
To solve the problem, they brought Brian Stelter from CNN, yes the same Brian Stelter who, with an impassive face, perceived the line of the ridiculous White House that President Biden was well and simply the victim of a “cheap” right -wing video, last year.

You remember, about eight minutes before the grandfather Joe was implemented on a scene of debate.
You will not be surprised to learn that the left-wing stelter and water transport said to the New-Shour in left water that the CBS of the left “CBS has done nothing wrong here. CBS engaged in standard television editing practices”.
At this stage, in a failure of journalistic ethics that would anchor News by Pravda Blush, Amna Nawaz, gave an astonishing lie from Stelter. In fact, the subjective and obviously biased Stelter’s opinion has simply been treated as a fact.
So what really happened? We have all seen it. One morning during the electoral campaign, “60 minutes” released a clip from her interview with Harris in which she answered a question about Israel with a sentence of nonsense that made Joe Biden Eloque.
But, here, when the episode was broadcast, the answer that we had already seen was no longer, replaced by a highly edited version which made Harris seem almost convincing.

In the original clip, when the host Bill Whittaker asks why Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu does not listen to Biden, Harris said the following:
“Well, Bill … The work we have done resulted in a number of movements in this region by Israel which were very provoked by where the result of many things, including our plea for what must happen in the region.”
And here is the answer that was finally broadcast in the program:
“We are not going to stop continuing what is necessary for the United States to be clear at the end of the end of this war.”
In no universe of fair and honest journalism, this blatant cleaning on Asle Harris cannot be considered something other than CBS News trying to make the Democratic candidate better. It is not a standard practice, it is a lie.
PBS Newshour and Stelter did not dare to roll real recordings, or their low affirmation that CBS News’s mother company, paramount, Sudoy Trump to obtain the approval of a merger would have collapsed faster than CNN notes.

And this is not a new problem for public broadcasting. It was in April of last year that the editor -in -chief of the NPR for a long time, Uri Berliner, wrote a scathing chronicle on scandalous biases, although in the soft voice, at the exit.
But have we seen changes? Have we seen the leaders who direct PBS and NPR take measures to present a fair information product? Obviously not. As Stelter’s interview shows, these points of sale are always as bad as ever.
It seems that, after having resigned from the fact that the Republicans will reduce their direct federal funding, PBS and NPR have decided to do everything on the anti-Trump feeling that their base wants. Maybe they can move a few tote bags and additional umbrellas.
Given the total lack of remorse shown by PBS and NPR, even when proofs of their rank arise as garbage during a garbage strike, no self -respecting republican should vote to give them a penny.

PBS and NPR have received years, even decades, to clean their act and assume their responsibility to provide new impartials to the public service, not to the service of the Democratic Party.
Time is up. Public broadcasting can be a propaganda arm from the left where it can be funded by taxpayers; It can no longer be both.

And after all, with the adoption of One Big Beautiful Bill of Trump, millions of people who like public broadcasting will be free to give their significant tax savings to PBS and NPR, while the rest of us can withdraw from the funding of false news.
I call it a winner-win.
