US forces carried out a deadly kinetic strike on Thursday against a ship allegedly operated by a designated terrorist organization, killing two suspected narcoterrorists.
U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) said intelligence confirmed the ship was transiting known narcotics trafficking routes in the Eastern Pacific and was engaged in narcotics trafficking operations.
Thursday’s strike was the second U.S. strike this year. A previous strike also killed two suspected narcoterrorists and left one survivor, officials said.
