Woman Kicked Out of Gym Confronts Radical LGBTQ Lawmaker Over Support of Men in Women’s Spaces – RedState

A Black lesbian, who said she was barred from a Los Angeles Gold’s Gym after filing a complaint about a frightening encounter with a trans-identified man in the women’s locker room, confronted a radical LGBTQ lawmaker who is responsible for many of the state’s biology-defying laws during a town hall Monday night.
Singer Tish Hyman confronted California State Sen. Scott Wiener (D-San Francisco), who is running to replace outgoing Rep. Nancy Pelosi, and was quickly silenced and tsk-tsked by the white moderator, Mission Local editor Joe Eskenazi.

As Hyman wrote on
I had the chance to have a conversation with Senator Weiner. It was honest. I hope this is the first of many conversations we will have regarding women’s safety.
Senator Weiner said he enjoys working with new young people and is open to ideas.

“Senator Wiener said he enjoys working with new young people and is open to ideas,” she added. “And I have plenty, Scott!”
In the clip, Hyman said she was “attacked at Gold’s Gym this week by a trans woman who identifies as having a documented history of domestic violence.”
She tried desperately to explain her concern for the safety of women in women’s spaces and to emphasize that her position was dangerous for women and that women have the right to protect themselves.
Wiener: “We want, I mean, everyone to be safe. And we also know that we have trans people, both men and women, who are men and women. So, if you are, trans women are women.”
Hyman hit back, saying “millions of women are sexually harassed and assaulted in locker rooms.”
“I’m a lesbian black woman. I’m not transphobic. I’m not homophobic…but I see that a lot of these bills that you’ve passed are dangerous for young women and children,” Hyman said. “I tell you first of all, as a woman, it’s dangerous.”
“Are you going to protect women? Not trans women, but women/women,” she added. “Trans women are different.”
That’s when the people in the room turned on her and attacked her for not accepting their fantasy that trans women are women. She had to defend her comments when a member of Wiener’s security approached her, explaining that the man she said attacked her in the locker room had been convicted of assaulting his ex-wife, as RedState reported.
But Weiner stuck to his madness and used language like “women and cis femmes” to argue that trans-identified men need to be protected.
She ultimately agreed to leave the event because the weirdos in the room couldn’t handle the truth she was telling.
A video of what happened surfaced on X, and people like Megyn Kelly and others criticized Weiner’s response.
This man cannot be allowed near the US Congress. Scott Wiener is a disgrace. A radical. And clearly a misogynist. https://t.co/K1qGIQ5kmv

As a lifelong San Franciscan, I’m not a Scott Weiner fan, to put it mildly. @listen2tish asks all the right questions. She is direct, clear and relentless in the best way possible. https://t.co/5un4nlx9j7

Someone else noticed how he said “women and cis women”…. ? 😳It shows very clearly that from now on men are women and that real women must take the new ideological name.
His priority is men in women’s locker rooms, prisons and sports. @listen2tish https://t.co/JI9ZJTBDIu

As she walked through the door, she spotted another black woman and told her, “Don’t let them use our blackness and our civil rights as a reason to pass weird laws to make children transform. It’s wrong.” Then she pointed out another Golden State folly, telling the audience that her sister, who is in prison, doesn’t have adequate access to tampons or soap, but can get free “transformation drugs.”
Given this man’s possible role in Congress, he is dangerous. Period.
