Democrats Try to Storm Mike Johnson’s Office, Accost Police Officer – RedState
Democrats attempted to storm House Speaker Mike Johnson’s office Tuesday night, with one representative attacking a police officer who intervened to arrest them. The members, most of them women, marched through the halls of the Capitol, holding signs reading “take the oath” while chanting the same phrase. This is a reference to Adelita Girjalva, who recently won a special election in Arizona.
Johnson understandably refused to move forward with Girjalva as long as Democrats continue to keep the government shut down. On this front, an eighth attempt to pass a Republican-backed continuing resolution failed in the Senate hours earlier. Yet the Democrats rounded up the cameras (because it was nothing more than a lame photo op) and tried to force their way into Johnson’s office anyway, apparently not seeing the irony in their request.

In the second video, you can see Rep. Nanette Barragan (D-CA) yelling at a USCP officer who was just trying to do his job. Unlike the spoiled brat syndrome that perpetually infects the Democratic caucus, they have no right to barge into Johnson’s office without permission. In fact, I was assured that such a thing amounted to a dangerous insurrection. At the very least, it’s pretty disgusting to be lashing out like this when these officers aren’t even getting paid right now because Democrats silence the government.
What makes it even stupider is that Johnson wasn’t even there. Instead, the speaker attended the ceremony to posthumously award Charlie Kirk the Presidential Medal of Freedom. So whoever organized this thing (you can see Rep. Pramila Jayapal at the front of the line) managed to mess up their own stunt.

Watching these videos, I can’t help but wonder if they understand how ridiculous and out of touch with reality they look. This is especially true for those screaming AWFLs who make up much of the Democratic caucus. Normal Americans face a whole host of problems, and these skilled clowns stage photo ops with all the allure of a colonoscopy.
If they want Girjalva was sworn in, they can stop playing games and reopen the government. It’s that simple. In the meantime, they are not immune from the consequences of their own actions.
