VMAs 2025 tribute to Ozzy Osbourne features performances from heavy metal legends

Ozzy Osbourne, who died in July at 76, was honored with a star tribute representation Sunday during the Video Music Awards.
Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith, Yungblud and Nuno Bettencourt interpreted a mixture of the tubes of the singer of Black Sabbath, including “Crazy Train”, “Change” and “Mom, I come home”.
The performance was presented by Osbourne Jack’s son and several of his grandchildren, who shared a video message to VMA viewers about their beloved family member.

“I know with certainty that it would make him incredibly happy to see these great musicians continue his heritage and help inspire the next generation of Rockers,” said Jack Osbourne.
“In the words of our dad,” let’s go crazy “, added the grandchildren, referring to his popular song” Crazy Train “.
Later in his career, Osbourne became a must -have of MTV, which also houses the VMA. The reality TV show “The Osbournes”, which followed his family, ran on the network from 2002 to 2005.

The “Prince of Darkness” obtained a Hollywood Walk of Fame star in 2002.
Osbourne brought together his comrades of Black Sabbath Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward for their final program on July 5.
The reunion performance occurred only a few months after Sharon Osbourne revealed that her husband was unable to walk because of Parkinson’s disease.
The VMA tribute ended with artists shouting in unison: “Ozzy forever, guy.”
