‘We Don’t Need People That Join Wars After We’ve Already Won!’ – RedState

Relations between the UK and the US have been rather tense of late, shall we say. The latest turmoil was when Prime Minister Keir Starmer refused to let us use British air bases during Operation Epic Fury.
Once the battle was well underway – and long after it became clear that America dominated Iran – Starmer relented and allowed our bombers to use key strategic airfields for “defensive purposes”.
This was not a profile of courage.
On Saturday, even as US-Israeli airstrikes continued unabated, Trump took time out of his busy day to point out to Starmer that his lack of loyalty had not gone unnoticed and certainly would not be forgotten.

Here is the full text of his message:
The United Kingdom, our former great ally, perhaps the greatest of all, is finally seriously considering sending two aircraft carriers to the Middle East. It’s okay, Prime Minister Starmer, we don’t need it anymore – but we will remember it. We don’t need people joining wars after they’ve already won! President DONALD J. TRUMP
“We don’t need people joining wars after they’ve already won!” the president wrote.
Phew! This one will leave a mark.

Johnny came recently Starmer’s administration said a ship was being prepared for possible action:
Trump’s statement comes after the British Ministry of Defense said one of the country’s two aircraft carriers had been placed on advanced readiness in Portsmouth, England, in preparation for possible mobilization in the Middle East, according to the BBC.
A British destroyer, HMS Dragon, is also in Portsmouth, waiting to depart for Cyprus after delays.
Starmer said that while the UK was not involved in the strikes, it was “operating defensively in the region”.
How very useful. Maybe one of the ships will get there by summer.
Trump has already made his feelings about the British prime minister known, telling the UK Telegraph after the first strikes that Starmer’s hesitation betrays our historic alliance:
Donald Trump told the Telegraph he was “very disappointed” that Sir Keir Starmer stopped him from using Diego Garcia to carry out strikes against Iran.
In an exclusive interview, the US president said the prime minister’s initial refusal to let US forces use the Chagos Islands base was unlike anything that had happened “between our countries before”.

Britain is our long-standing ally, fighting alongside us in two planet-changing world wars.
The damage done here might be irreparable, but the best outcome would be for the once great country to come to its senses and start acting like leaders again, instead of woke, irresponsible ideologues who sit idly by and watch their country decline.
Editor’s note: For decades, past presidents have done nothing but talk. Now, Donald Trump eliminates the Iranian threat once and for all.
