White House ballroom to be ‘drone-proof’ with military complex

US President Donald Trump spoke to reporters at the construction site of his planned White House ballroom, saying the project, estimated to cost $400 million, should be “drone-proof” and include a military-style complex beneath the facility.
Trump said the ballroom was funded by private donors and was ahead of schedule. The project, however, faced new obstacles after the Senate parliamentarian ruled against a billion-dollar provision in a bill intended to help finance it.
