WSJ Reports Trump Knows His Name Is Listed in Epstein Files—Because Bondi Told Him

In the sources that spoke at the Wall Street Journal described as a “routine briefing that covered a number of subjects” in May, President Trump was informed that his name had appeared several times in the documents that the Ministry of Justice examined on the Jeffrey Epstein case.
In a new play published this afternoon which quotes senior officials of the anonymous administration, the WSJ reports that the prosecutor General Pam Bondi told Trump at the meeting of the White House on his name appearing in the files and said that several other high-level figures have also appeared. The newspaper’s play includes this warning: “Being mentioned in the files is not a sign of reprehensible acts.”
The name of Trump being listed in the “several times” files was not at the center of the meeting, these managers told WSJ. But it was during this meeting that it was decided that the Doj would no longer publish documents related to Epstein’s survey because the documents “contained juvenile pornography and the personal information of the victims”, in the words of the journal. Trump would have told them that he would recover in the matter.
According to the description of the WSJ of Reunion:
They told the president at the meeting that the files contained what civil servants thought that the hearsay not verified on many people, including Trump, had socialized with Epstein in the past, some officials said. One of the officials familiar with documents said they contain hundreds of other names.
The New York Times published an article a few hours later, confirming many of the main details of the WSJ report.
FBI director Kash Patel has also told other Trump administration officials that the president’s name appeared in the documents, according to WSJ.
All this, of course, flies in the face of Trump’s own public remarks on the issue. Earlier this month, Trump was asked by a news journalist if Bondi told him if his name had appeared in the files.
“No, no, she is – she gave us a very fast briefing,” said Trump in response to the question, adding that Bondi had “really done a very good job” by examining the massive investigation file.
Just under the thread
Before leaving the city because President Mike Johnson (R-La) closed the legislative session early to avoid more Epstein votes, the chairman of the chamber surveillance committee, James Comer, assigned Ghislaine Maxwell, the former imprisoned Epstein partner. She would present herself for a deposition in a federal correctional establishment in Florida in August, according to ABC News.
“The facts and circumstances surrounding the affairs of your and Epstein have received immense public interest and a meticulous exam,” said Commer in a statement.
The fixation on Maxwell of the Republicans and the White House is only one of the several ways in which Trump and his allies have tried to divert and distract from history that the political movement of Trump is in arms that his Doj does not publish the files. In an article on Truth Social, Trump ordered MJ officials to meet Maxwell lawyers earlier this week. His personal lawyer and assistant prosecutor Todd Blanche makes, in particular, a great demonstration of his plans to continue a meeting with the lawyers of Maxwell.

To distract their decision not to disclose the files, the Ministry of Justice of Trump also makes a big problem to ask the courts to unscathed the transcriptions of the great jury of various cases linked to Epstein. A judge in Florida refused the request. By PBS:
On Wednesday, a judge dismissed a Trump administration request to a question of transcriptions of surveys on the great jury on Jeffrey Epstein years ago in Florida, although a similar request for files is pending in New York.
US District Judge Robin Rosenberg at West Palm Beach said that the 2005 and 2007 Grand Jury’s documents request did not meet any of the extraordinary exceptions under the federal law that could make them public.
