Alongside the new Galaxy phones, both Galaxy earbuds are getting pre-order deals. The Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 are $179.99 and come with a $20 Amazon gift card, and the Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro opts for $249.99 and come with a $30 Amazon gift card. Both will be released on March 11, but you can pre-order them now. Since these headphones will be their flagship headphones for a while, this is a great opportunity for any Samsung fan or anyone curious about Samsung’s new headphones to pick them up.

Samsung wants to compete with Apple, with similar design, features and even price. The Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 are strikingly similar to the Apple AirPods 4 in design, with noise cancellation and no silicone tips tucking into your ears. They come with high-resolution audio, IP54 for water resistance, a live translation feature similar to Apple’s, a new design, call quality improvements, and direct access to ask AI questions and receive answers through the earbuds. Controls are swipe and pinch, and the charging case is available in black or white.

It’s also easy to draw the similarities between the Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro and the Apple AirPods Pro 3. Besides the fact that both cost $249, the most obvious similarity is the design of the silicone in-ear tip that helps seal out noise and improve ANC. The Pros have all the same features as the Buds 4 and are supposed to be more comfortable, have better ANC which Samsung calls ANC 2.0, have better water resistance with an IP57 rating, which handles submersion in water up to 1 meter, and perhaps most importantly, a two-way speaker (as opposed to unidirectional on the Buds 4) said to offer better quality sound, superior frequency separation and distortion reduced. But we will only know if these claims are true when we examine them.
