It’s abundantly clear every time you see Erika Kirk speak in public that she is becoming even stronger in her faith and sense of purpose in the wake of the assassination of her husband, Charlie Kirk, co-founder of Turning Point USA (TPUSA).
Ms. Kirk appeared at Ole Miss Wednesday evening as part of TPUSA’s “This Is the Turning Point” tour, where she insisted it was time for conservatives to not be afraid to speak out, and she encouraged them to use their faith and the memory of Charlie Kirk and his legacy as guiding forces.

“The hope we’re looking for isn’t found in Washington. It’s not found in the media. It’s here. All of you. That’s hope,” she told the Mississippi crowd, while noting that “when you earn your voice and stand up for what’s right, that’s part of your legacy, your family’s legacy, just as much as Charlie’s.”

She also emphasized how people must show courage, even in the face of forces that have attempted to deport people for the crime of wearing a MAGA hat:

Ms. Kirk also explained how easy it is for bad ideas to take root in society when people choose to stand aside and remain silent rather than stand up for their beliefs and make their voices heard in the court of public opinion.
“I could hear Charlie saying, go get that land back,” she said. “Christians are called to enter the public space and correct errors with the truth,” she also stressed.

One of the strongest moments of her speech was when she told the crowd, “You cannot change a nation if you are a slave to fear.” She encouraged people not to be afraid of losing their friendships because they decide to speak out.
