You’re Fired! FBI Director Patel Brings Consequences to Entire Team That Spied on Republican Senators – RedState

As RedState’s Susie Moore reported Monday, the FBI revealed explosive information that former special counsel Jack Smith and his team spied on nearly a dozen Republican senators as part of the “Arctic Frost” investigation into January 6 and the 2020 election. According to documents released by Director Kash Patel, Smith and his gang allegedly tracked the phone calls of Republican senators Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee, Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, Josh Hawley of Missouri, Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming, Bill Hagerty of Tennessee, Dan Sullivan of Alaska, Tommy Tuberville of Alabama and GOP Rep. Mike Kelly from Pennsylvania.

Patel was quick to respond and on Tuesday he ousted the entire group and warned of more consequences to come:

The FBI has already fired employees and abolished the CR-15 team just a day after it was revealed that the private communications and phone calls of several Republicans had been tracked.

FBI Director Kash Patel on Tuesday announced actions the bureau was taking in response to the Biden administration’s revelation of “baseless surveillance” and promised further action would be taken.

“We are cleaning up a sick temple three decades in the making – identifying the rot, removing those who have used law enforcement for political purposes and those who do not meet the standards of that mission, while restoring the integrity of the FBI. I promised reform and I intend to deliver,” Patel said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

The director published his actions on social networks:

The tweet continues:

Following our latest revelation regarding the former FBI leadership team’s baseless surveillance of members of Congress, we have already taken the following actions:

We have fired employees, we have abolished the CR-15 Armed Squad, and we have launched an ongoing investigation with more accountability measures to come.

FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino responded to the post, saying, “We promised you transparency and accountability. We will continue to deliver on those promises. You deserve better.”

Missouri Republican Senator Josh Hawley was reportedly one of the individuals targeted, and he was not amused. Patel told him: “Here we are. »

The militarization of our government and particularly our Department of Justice under former President Joe Biden and corrupt Attorney General Merrick Garland was one of the most egregious abuses of power we have seen in this country and, in many people’s opinions – including my own – far worse than Watergate. They abused, spied on, and pursued their political enemies and ordinary Americans as if it were an addiction.

Now that Trump is back in office and his team is in place, we see more than just forcefully worded letters: we see consequences. This can’t come a minute too soon.
