Looking to buy more tools this year? Ryobi has an excellent selection of power tools, and its constant stream of new products is one of many reasons it’s so popular. And while Ryobi has released over 75 new items in the last year, here are a few new tools coming in 2026 that are actually worth waiting for.

Over the last month or two, Ryobi has slowly released new tools and accessories and updated its new product website with a collection of tools that are now available or coming soon. Some of those include a new 3-port lithium charger, more affordable battery-powered snow blowers, or brushless nailer tools. But I’ll be keeping my eye on a few other new releases in the coming months.

Ryobi 18V One-handed Reciprocating Saw

Whether you’re making repairs around the house or are a DIY enthusiast starting another project, a sawzall is something everyone should own. And while you may already have one, Ryobi’s new 18V One-handed Reciprocating Saw is a bit different.

Instead of a long and heavy frame for tough jobs, this new one-handed saw is lightweight and offers a unique shape to help balance that weight for easy one-handed use. It’s perfect for cutting wood, walls, plastic, branches, and more. It’s also more compact than many sawzalls, making it great for tight spaces.

Ryobi says this saw provides fast, efficient cutting with up to 3,000 strokes per minute with a 5/8″ stroke length and features a quick-release blade change system. Select Home Depot stores already have it available, bundled with a battery, for $80. However, those looking for the tool itself will need to wait until late January or February 2026.

Ryobi 40V All-Wheel Drive Self-propelled Lawn Mower

While Ryobi already offers a wide range of lawn mowers at different sizes and price points, including mine, which I love, this latest entry is the industry’s first battery-powered AWD lawn mower. The new Ryobi 40V AWD self-propelled 21-inch multi-blade mower is full of upgrades.

As the name suggests, this is a cordless battery-powered lawn mower with all-wheel drive, making it great for large yards with various terrain or hills. It also features a large 21-inch multiblade for improved cutting, a mulching mode, and a new “cut command center” display located near the handle. This screen shows battery life, blade life, and easier-to-use buttons for controlling the mow speed, height, and drive type.

Additionally, you can easily toggle AWD on or off, and there are paddle shifters to help steer around obstacles, trees, or gardens. And finally, there’s a new Turbo mode that delivers full power constantly, helping homeowners cut through taller grass. It looks like a capable new mower that I’ll be getting to replace my older unit.

Ryobi 18V 4-1/2 inch Circular Cutoff Saw

Several power tool brands offer compact circular cutoff saws, such as Milwaukee’s 3-inch model, but they’re typically underpowered and not all that useful. Thankfully, Ryobi aims to address this issue with its new 4-1/2-inch one-handed circular saw.

Ryobi’s new circular saw, coming in 2026, is slightly larger than many of those compact 3-inch models, making it versatile for a wide range of projects and jobs. It features a lightweight one-handed design, along with an adjustable bevel and a 1-9/16″ cut depth.

This upcoming 4-1/2 inch saw is a great little tool for cutting lumber, plywood, drywall, flooring, OSB, and more. The company says it can do about 300 cuts on a single charge, and it runs on any of the 18V ONE+ battery packs you already own.

While Ryobi’s extensive 18V tool line is its most popular, did you know the company also offers a smaller USB Lithium selection of household tools that run off a USB-C rechargeable battery?

The USB Lithium line from Ryobi is steadily expanding each year, and the newest addition coming this year is a compact pruning shear tool kit. Whether you’re gardening or simply maintaining small trees, this cordless pruning tool is ideal for you. The small 2Ah USB-C rechargeable battery is good for 450+ cuts, and it’s lightweight enough for anyone to use.

Ryobi 18V Attachment Capable String Trimmer

String trimmers are an essential tool for yard maintenance, and if you’re looking for something a little more capable, longer, or adjustable, Ryobi’s new 18V 15-foot trimmer is for you.

Coming in Q1 2026, the Ryobi 15-foot attachment-capable string trimmer is available for only $159. This tool delivers more power than a 21cc gas-powered equivalent while being 89% quieter. You can extend the trimmer to various lengths for yard work, trees, and more. Then, because it’s part of the attachment platform, you’ll be able to buy other tools that’ll attach to it for true versatility.

The Ryobi 18V 15-foot string strimmer comes as a tool-only kit or bundled with a battery system. Additionally, Ryobi will release the same option in a slightly longer and more powerful 40V version for those who prefer it.

Keep in mind that most of the products listed above are scheduled as “coming soon” without concrete release dates. However, a few of them are available in select bundles at various retail stores. Keep an eye out for all of them at your nearby Home Depot.
