This 1440p MSI monitor with 144Hz speed is just $140

PC gaming seems to be getting more and more expensive every week, but luckily monitors aren’t increasing in price by much. In fact, there are even a few deals to be found. Take this MSI monitor, for example: it offers a 27-inch, 1440p, 144Hz resolution for a little more speed. And at Amazon, it’s only $139.99 right now, a savings of $40.
The MSI Pro MP273Q E14 doesn’t have a catchy name – all monitor names are terrible – but it has a lot of value. Not only does the 27-inch LCD panel operate at a resolution of 2560×1440, which is the “sweet spot” for today’s PC gaming, but its 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time mean it can also pull its weight in competitive online gaming. It’s compatible with Adaptive Sync, for when you want to enable all the visual bells and whistles.
And best of all, it uses an IPS panel, not VA. This means color accuracy, so it’s ready to be used for video or photo editing. With HDMI and DisplayPort connections, this also makes a great multi-monitor upgrade, even if it doesn’t have any USB extras. The screen also comes with a VESA mount, which you should use to add a monitor arm, and a set of built-in speakers, which you should ignore. Please. Please do not use the built-in speakers.
Amazon isn’t saying how long this deal will last. If that’s not what you’re looking for, check out PCWorld’s roundup of the best monitors.
