Another Nail Just Got Hammered in Bogus ‘D.C. Crime Is Down!’ Talking Point – RedState
Democrats are not only sadly famous for themselves, but they are even more notable for the frequency to which they have been the subject of the American people to try to make them believe manifestly false.
Take, for example, the “Fondice the Police” movement (alias the Black Lives Matter organization), which they changed in the nth degree in summer and in autumn 2020 during the riots of George Floyd. Although this finally injured the Democrats of the Chamber in the polls that year, the next day, there was a concerted and concerted effort of the consumer and the left media to complain that certain legislators had been unjustly associated with the movement.
Perhaps more insulting, some even had the cheek to suggest that the funding of the police literally did not speak to finance them, although their claims fall flat when the woketivists in the congress like the representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) sometimes said the calm part aloud by recalling that the “breaking the police” meant exactly what it looked like.

Here we are in the summer of 2025, and the Democrats and their media allies do it again, quoting questionable statistics to proclaim that “the crime is broken down” in Washington, DC, in the midst of the federalized police of President Trump, even as residents and others who live elsewhere, but who work in the capital of our country have laid out to share their stories of families, to be victims of our country.
Others, like the DC Police Union, also injected a certain reality into the discussion, confirming “”Crime is becoming uncontrollable and immediate An action is necessary to restore public security “and that they agree with Trump’s decision, although they feel it”Must be a temporary measure, with the ultimate goal of empowering fully equipped staff and supported MPD to effectively protect our city. “”
As an additional proof of democrat / shameless media on this issue, the president of the FCC, Brendan Carr, shared a letter of 70 DC Professional associations Sent to the mayor of DC Muriel Bowser (D) in 2024 expressing the main concerns about “alarming trends” and “horrible violence acts” which had taken place through the city:
“Our organizations are mainly based in the downtown business district, where there have been horrible acts of violence”
“Innocents in the city districts have been targeted in flights, shelters and acts of apparently random violence”

Our organizations are mainly based in the city center business district, where horrible acts of violence have been horrible in recent months. Mike Gill, father of three children and leader of the commercial and political community of Washington, recently died after being killed in a violent car car in the middle of the street of street K. Later in the evening, a young man and father of two, Alberto “AJ” Vasquez, was constantly murdered by the same man who made an 11 -hour car trip. Police are still looking for a suspect in the recent murder of the CEO of Dynamo Technologies, Vivek Teneja, which occurred a few blocks from the White House. Dynamo Technologies had recently won a contract to provide “support for critical cybersecurity operations” for the Ministry of Agriculture. At the end of last year, the member of the Congress Henry Cueller (D-TX) was diverted to less than a mile from the Capitol building. The potential departure of Capitals and Wizards of the Chinatown arena threatens to further accelerate a rapid drop in downtown DC which will only exacerbate violent crimes.
[…]The municipal council should take immediate measures to target the small group of organized and repeated criminals responsible for most of these violent offenses. A recent study by the National Institute for Criminal Justice reform and the Metropolitan Police Department of the Columbia District (MPD) revealed that 200 people lead to the sharp increase in armed violence. The diversion rings of armed cars, including a broken at the end of last year by the Ministry of Justice, are responsible for numerous flights of 950 cars in 2023. A man was recently arrested after having committed an armed robbery in the same location of Chinatown Walgreens six times in the past six months.
A good golden rule concerning the Democrats is that if their lips move, nine times out of ten, they lie or deceive the public in another way. But with regard to criminal issues and how to fight them, you can be assured that they are full of them at 100% of the time.
